Setting your homes stage.

What calls out to you when you come home? Look around, is it your cozy couch? The big fluffy pillows & blankets? The smell? Chances are those are your guests favorite things about your home as well. Our homes are full of little sensory moments. So make the most of your time when you're home and set the stage for your arrival!

Your senses are triggered by the size of your furniture, the arrangement, lighting (I can’t stress this part enough, but that’s for another blog!) the way your home is organized, candles, sounds. Is your space functioning in its current arrangement? Maybe it’s time to freshen it up with a new layout. Sit on your couch and look around. Are things easily accessible for relaxation? A side table with a lamp & soft lighting or your favorite book and candle is a good start. A basket with fresh clean blankets for those cold nights. Maybe you’ve been considering a new rug, shag adds a sense of coziness to any space! Cozy also doesn't always mean more. Sometimes simplifying your home calms your mind.

Don’t overthink it, and don’t rush to your nearest Target just yet! Sometimes all you need is to rearrange a few things. This is your home after all, light a candle, sprinkle your personalty around your home. This is what draws your beloved guests to your space.
